Donate to the PACT Appeal
PACT in partnership with the Sheffield Childrens NHS Foundation Trust are fundraising to support the cost of refurbishing part of the main building in order to create a new Day Care Cancer Centre. This clinic will be next to Ward M3 and will have all the existing clinic facilities as well as a new treatment suite and an improved waiting area for families.
Once completed, hopefully in 2017, the clinic will be known as the “PACT Children’s Centre for Oncology and Haematology” and we are sure it will make a big difference to all the families that use it.
We plan to raise the funds through a combination of donating existing charity funds as well as fund raising through a specific appeal fund solely for this project. You can donate to this appeal in a variety of ways:
The easiest way to donate is to use the JustGiving website. If you are organising or taking part in a sponsored event for us you can set up your own linked fundraising page to collect donations online through the JustGiving website.
All the monies from this page will go towards the PACT Appeal.
You can also make donations by SMS. All you have to do is text PACT66 and the amount you want to donate to the number 70070. For example ‘PACT66 £10.00’.
You will get a reply confirming you have donated to the “PACT Cancer Charity” and you will then be asked if you want to add Gift Aid as well.
Finally you can make a donation by cheque (payable to ‘PACT’ please) and posting it to us at the PACT office. Please clearly state that the donation is for the PACT Appeal Fund.
Did you know that if you make a personal donation to PACT and you are a taxpayer, PACT can claim gift aid on your donation which makes it worth even more to us?
There is a Gift Aid Form available to download and if you complete this and send it in to the office, we will acknowledge receipt and keep it on file. We will then be able to claim gift aid on every personal donation you make now or in the future. We cannot claim Gift Aid on donations from companies or organisations.
Please note that if you do donate via the JustGiving website there is no need to complete a form, as Gift Aid is claimed at the point that you make the donation, if you choose to do so.
