Mrs Jane Mitchell

Hi, I’m Jane Mitchell. I became involved with PACT in 2003 when my daughter Emily was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood tumour. She started on treatment straight away, but unfortunately although initially it was working, after three and a half years on treatment she lost her fight.

I stayed in touch with PACT, helping out with fundraising projects, and Daniel, my eldest son, continued to be included as a bereaved sibling. I had another child George and decided when he started Primary school to come onto the committee as a trustee. That was in 2014! I’m really enjoying it at this busy time.
