How We Help

As a regional centre, Sheffield Children’s Hospital had outgrown their facilities and PACT fundraised to provide a new oncology and haematology unit at the hospital, the new facilities opened in May 2018. It has provided a bright and welcoming space where the Children have many things to occupy them whilst waiting or receiving treatment.

The charity is run by trustees, many of whom are parent’s and we are passionate about helping parents and children; sharing what helped us through the journey and making sure we support each individual through their personal experiences.

Helping Hands

Sheffield Children’s Hospital is a regional centre of excellence and with children having to stay weeks at a time for treatment, Pact House is vital to cut down the stress of travelling and increase time families can spend together.

After going through months of treatment, a short break in our caravans at Filey or Berwick-on-Tweed can make a huge difference to a family.

We also realise how important it is for the siblings and the whole family so we provide trips and treats that the whole family can enjoy. These include visits to theme parks, bowling for the teenagers at Christmas and a traditional Christmas party. We have also held exclusive events at Weston Park Museum.
