A huge thanks to Jen for raising £1109 for the Pact Parents room

Jen, Edie, Tom, Rich, George and Ellie, with support from family and friends completed a Hike fell marathon and raised £1109 for the Pact Parents room.
Jen is the one pictured with her mum and dad, she was treated for Leukaemia in 1994-1996 at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Over the years Jen and her family and friends have raised money for PACT, through school events, Botanical Garden shows etc. Now 30 years old she decided to do something different and organised this Hike a Fell Marathon with her friends and colleagues who all know each other from working at Chill Factore (indoor ski centre in Manchester).
Jen says ‘My family and other friends were incredible on the day, at designated stops to cheer us on and replenish our food and water supplies! The charity is very important to my family and I, as without it we would have struggled to survive. I lost a few close friends who were being treated for different types of Leukaemia on my ward, and part of the hike was in memory of them. One in particular was my friend Kayleigh.
On behalf of Pact, Sarah, (Assistant Co-ordinator) said ‘It amazes me that after all this time families still remember the support we gave them. It truly means a lot to us.
